Three Questions We Hear Often

How far ahead should I book an appointment?

Weekend and holiday slots fill quickly, so we suggest booking one to three weeks ahead for full braids. Simpler services such as cornrows and trims can often fit within a week, especially on weekdays.

Should I wash my hair before I come in?

Freshly washed, fully dry hair braids cleanest and stays neat longest, so please arrive the night before or the morning of with detangled and dried hair. Avoid heavy oils or leave-in build-up before your appointment where possible.

How long will my protective style last?

With gentle home care most knotless and box braids last four to six weeks and cornrows two to four weeks. We recommend one to three maintenance visits to refresh edges and roots so the style stays crisp and kind to your hairline.
